Q: How do I measure the total volume of the brain once I have de-skulled
it?
Once you have finished the de-skulling go to Toolbox -> Measurement ->
Statistics and include the Area.
Now make sure that MEDx is in the 3D mode and select the Lower threshold
option and use a value of say 1. This will eliminate all voxels less than
1 thus avoiding the background for the calculation. Click on Ok.
The value returned for Area will be the volume of your brain.
