MEDx Frequently Asked Questions - DICOM

Q: The usage of the MxOpenImageAsDicom command states:

MxOpenImageAsDicom $folder [PropertyList DICOMCTImageSetOfNumberOfSlices DICOMMRImageSetOfNumberOfSlices] file result

I see that the three arguments in the middle are optional, but why are they inside one set of brackets [] together and not inside their separate sets of brackets? Can you describe the intended usage better?

This Mx command is slightly different in its usage because all of these three arguments must be specified whenever at least one of them is specified. This is why they are inside a single set of brackets.
