Announcing:
MEDx 3.4.3
MEDx 3.4.3 is now available! This update to MEDx 3.4 is available
now on all supported platforms (Solaris, Linux, Irix), and contains several
great features:
-
SPM'99 - The very popular SPM'99 toolset
from the Wellcome Department of Cognitive Neurology at University
College of London is available with MEDx. No Matlab runtime
license required!
-
FSL - An extremely powerful, robust,
and fast collection of functional and structural brain image analysis
tools developed by the Image Analysis
Group at Oxford University under the direction of Dr. Stephen
Smith. Automatically extract brains from MR images! Analyze event-related
fMRI experiments!
-
DICOM Functionality - All-new DICOM
functionality to improve performance and usability. In addition to
all of the previously supported DICOM objects and functionality, MEDx
now includes DICOM PET and nuclear medicine readers!
-
ABLe - (Analysis of Brain Lesions)
Used to characterize and quantify brain lesions in MR and CT images
of the adult human brain. Normalize the lesioned brain into Talairach
space, measure lesion volume, quantify Brodmann area involvement,
and report anatomic structures!
-
Functional Data Simulator - A
highly interactive and intuitive tool for constructing realistic curves
of signal intensity vs. time. Create synthetic fMRI data and then
test the effects of noise, timing, and other experimental variables
on the results of your analysis techniques!
With the release of MEDx 3.4 and higher, we have made some important
changes in the MEDx Software License Agreement, the MEDx documentation
set, and our future plans for platform phase-out. See the MEDx
Overview page for more information, as well as other pertinent MEDx
news. See the MEDx Release Notes for
information about the new features listed above.
